Tanaji Sawant (Template:Lang-mr) is a Shiv Sena politician and deputy leader from Osmanabad district, Maharashtra. He is current Member of Legislative Council as a member of Shiv Sena representing Yavatmal Local Authorities constituency. [1] He got elected to legislative council with a record margin of 270 votes, securing 348 votes.
He came into prominence for his Water conservation project, part of Shiv Sena’s ‘Shiv Jal Kranti’ scheme in Osmanabad district in May 2016. [2]
