The Tandy's sand frog (Tomopterna tandyi) is a species of frog in the Pyxicephalidae family. It is found in Angola, Botswana, Kenya, Namibia, South Africa, and Tanzania, and possibly Lesotho, Malawi, Mozambique, Swaziland, Zambia, and Zimbabwe. Its natural habitats are dry savanna, subtropical or tropical dry shrubland, temperate grassland, subtropical or tropical dry lowland grassland, intermittent rivers, intermittent freshwater lakes, intermittent freshwater marshes, arable land, pastureland, water storage areas, ponds, canals, and ditches.
