Tanglewood is a platform game developed and published by British studio Big Evil Corporation for the Mega Drive. The game was developed for the Mega Drive as a homebrew project. It was built using hardware, software, and development processes authentic to the 1990s.[1]
It was funded successfully through Kickstarter. It was released on the Mega Drive, Windows, macOS, and Linux on 14 August 2018.[1][2][3][4][5][6] A Dreamcast port is also planned.[7]

Development
Tanglewood was programmed in 68000 assembly language using original Sega development tools and processes from the 1990s.[1]
The game was released on physical carts that can be played on Mega Drive systems.[1]
