Taylor & Francis Group is an international company originating in the United Kingdom which publishes books and academic journals. In 2004 it merged with Informa to create a new company called T&F Informa (since simplified back to Informa). Taylor & Francis Group now makes up the academic publishing arm of Informa.

Taylor & Francis publishes more than 1000 journals, and over 1800 new books each year, with a backlist of over 20,000 titles. The group has at least eight offices, in the United Kingdom, New York, Philadelphia, Singapore, and Sydney.

The company was founded in 1852 when William Francis joined Richard Taylor in his publishing business. Taylor initially founded his company in 1798. Their subject covered include agriculture, chemistry, education, engineering, geography, law, mathematics, medicine, and social sciences among others.

Since acquiring Routledge in 1997, Taylor & Francis Group has acquired many small and medium sized publishing companies. Some of the imprints acquired include: Bios, Brunner-Routledge, Brunner-Mazel, Carfax, Cavendish, CRC Press, David Fulton Press, Frank Cass, Curzon, Gordon & Breach, Marcel Dekker, Martin Dunitz, Lawrene Erlbaum Associates, Parthenon Publishing, Spon Press, Swets and Zeitlinger Publishers, Taylor Graham Journals.
