The TeaPot Party is a political action group dedicated to ending the prohibition of marijuana in The United States. The group sprung up in response to the November 26, 2010 arrest of country music icon Willie Nelson and several band members for misdemeanor possession of four ounces of marijuana at the Sierra Blanca US border Patrol checkpoint 85 miles east of El Paso,Texas. The group's motto is "we lean a little to the left". [1] Comedian actor and marijuana activist Tommy Chong has been noted as one of the early followers of the party.
