Teboho Mokoena (soccer, born 1974)

Teboho Patrick Mokoena /ˌmɒkˈɛnə/ (born 10 July 1974 in Thokoza, Gauteng) is a South African association football player. He last played as a midfielder for Mpumalanga Black Aces F.C.

Career

Teboho is resisting the temptation to give up on football by staying fit in the amateur ranks. It has been over two months since Bidvest Wits chose not to renew the 34-year-old's contract, and Mokoena states he still wants to maintain his fitness at a competitive level.

He has 27 caps and 5 goals for South Africa, and was a participant at the 2002 FIFA World Cup, scoring one goal against Paraguay in the group stage.[1][2]
