Teleiodes luculella, the crescent groundling, is a moth of the Gelechiidae family. It is found from Europe to the southern Ural and Transcaucasia.[2] The habitat consists of woodlands, including oak woodlands.[3]

The wingspan is 9–13 mm.[4] Adults are on wing from May to June.

The larvae feed on Quercus, Castanea sativa, Betula, Acer and Salix eleagnos. They feed between spun leaves of their host plant. Larvae can be found in September. The species overwinters in the pupal stage within a cocoon on the ground.[5]
