Usage

Result: b. 1234 or b. c. 1234
This template generates an abbreviation for "born" ("b."); by default, it has a mouse-over tooltip explaining its meaning.
Parameters
[edit]This template supports an unnamed parameter representing a year (or range of years). For example, {{born in|1956}} renders to give b. 1956. This differs from {{born-in}} 1956 in that {{born-in|1956}} puts a non-breaking space in between the "b." and the number, which prevents web browsers from inserting a line break there.
