Usage
[edit]The syntax with typical parameters is as follows:
{{cite Grove 1900
|title = Lodovico Zacconi
|last = Singer
|first = Gerhard
|volume = xx
|pages = 611–612
}}
All parameters are strictly speaking optional, in which case a general citation is generated:
{{cite Grove 1900}}
{{cite encyclopedia}}
: Missing or empty |title=
(help)
However, it is strongly encouraged to include at least |title=
, |last=
, |first=
, |volume=
, and |pages=
. This template is a wrapper around {{cite encyclopedia}}
and supports all the same functionality and parameters (including |mode=cs2
).
