Cycling past winner is a set of six templates to create a standardised palmares for cycling races. This set is designed for a single winner, with details of their team. The six templates are:

Using the templates together

The templates create a list in two columns. Every list must start with {{Cycling past winner start}}. Each race edition needs a {{Cycling past winner rider}}, or {{Cycling past winner no race}} if there was a year without an edition, with parameters as set out below. Finally, the list must end with {{Cycling past winner end}} to close everything up.

  • {{{year}}} - edition of race, wikilinked to the pace page if applicable, not wikilinked if one doesn't exist or is unlikely to exist
  • {{{name}}} - Rider's name, wikilinked
  • {{{nat}}} - the rider's UCI registered nationality, can either be the three letter code or full name. Do not wikilink
  • {{{natvar}}} - allows a contemporary flag to be shown by choosing a flag variation. If left blank, the default is the current flag.
  • {{{team}}} - name of the team, wikilinked

  • {{{reason}}} - reason for the lack of a race (optional)
