Deprodding of [[:{{{1}}}]][edit]

I have removed the {{proposed deletion/dated}} tag from [[:{{{1}}}]], which you proposed for deletion, because its deletion has previously been contested or viewed as controversial. Proposed deletion is not for controversial deletions. For this reason, proposed deletion is disallowed on articles that have previously been de-prodded, even by the page's creator, or which have previously been listed on Wikipedia:Articles for deletion. If you still think the article should be deleted, please don't add the {{proposed deletion}} template back to the article, but feel free to list it at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion. Thanks!

Usage[edit]

Use this template to notify a user that you have removed their proposed deletion tag because it has previously been de-prodded or listed on Wikipedia:Articles for deletion.

Parameter[edit]

  • Provide the name of the article as the first unnamed parameter. This is the only required parameter. It will be automatically wiki-linked.

Example code[edit]

{{subst:Deprod-reprod|Wikipedia}} ~~~~

You may also consider using:

  • {{Deprod}} - for notifying a PROD nominator that you have removed their PROD tag
  • {{Deprod-afd}} - for notifying a PROD nominator that you have overridden their PROD with an AfD nomination
  • {{Deprod-article}} - for notifying a PROD nominator that you have removed their PROD tag because they tagged a non-article with {{prod}}
  • {{Deprod-contro}} - for notifying a PROD nominator that you have removed their PROD tag because you think the deletion would be controversial
  • {{Deprod-disagree}} - for notifying a PROD nominator that you have removed their PROD tag because you think the article shouldn't be deleted
