Template:IPAc-is
Usage[edit]
This template is used to display the Icelandic International Phonetic Alphabet (IPA). The pronunciation is broken into individual phones so that they will have mouseovers to indicate pronunciation. All phones from IPA for Icelandic are available. For anything outside that set, a different template should be used.
If [[unsupported input]] is displayed, it means that an unsupported input or non-existent sound file was used. Such instances are tallied at Category:Ill-formatted IPAc-is transclusions, where they can be reviewed and fixed.
To change the descriptions of sounds, go to Template:H:IPAc-is.
The first three variables can be used to indicate a prescript (e.g., Icelandic pronunciation:). The named parameter |audio= may be used to link to an audio file.
