Template:Infobox Australian place/cleanup/doc

This cleanup may be used to reformat, add missing fields and remove invalid fields from infoboxes. To use:

1. Open an edit window
2. Replace {{Infobox Australian place with {{subst:Infobox Australian place/cleanup
3. Save changes

Note that this is not a fully automated process. As with all articles, some cleanup of the new infobox to remove unnecessary fields may be required. However, the presence of unnecessary fields will not adversely affect the article. One consistent issue is inclusion of coordinates in articles. Many older articles do not include the coordinates in the infobox. In most cases, coordinate strings should be moved into the infobox to enable the locator map.
