Parameters

Parameter	Description
name	Name of the object wikilinked to the parent catalog page, i.e. Abell 370, NGC 7318, etc.
image	Associated image of the object: [[File:name.png|300px]]
caption	Text underneath the image.
credit	To whom do we owe this great pleasure?
epoch	Equatorial coordinates based on which epoch? If other than J2000, please find or convert to J2000.
constellation	Wikilink to constellation.
ra	{{RA|00|00}} or {{Deg2HMS|000.00000|sup=yes}}
dec	{{DEC|±00|00}}
brightest_member	The brightest (visible) member.
member_no	The number of galaxies belonging to the cluster, out to (at least) the virial radius.
parent	The parent structure (e.g. parent galaxy cluster, parent supercluster...)
richness	Abell (or related) richness class. Based on number of members within a magnitude range of m3 to m3+2, where m3 is the magnitude of the third brightest member of the cluster. Not to be mistaken for the total number of galaxies in the cluster. Link to the digital version of the entire Abell Catalog is here.
bmtype	Bautz-Morgan classification type is available via NASA Extragalactic Database (NED) or the digital version of the Abell Catalog.
velocity_dispersion	Velocity dispersion of the cluster (as opposed to of only the core).
redshift	* z, if ≳ 0.1 : 0.8 z (km/s), if ≲ 0.1 : 0.0717 (21 500 km/s)
distance	NED's default value for the dimensionless Hubble parameter is 0.73 using the WMAP 3-year results, but one is able to change this to match the WMAP 5-year results with h=0.705. If measurement is left in 'units' of h: {{hub}} gives h−1   If h=0.73 is used: {{hub|0.73}} gives h−1 0.73 {{convert|100|Mpc|Mly|2|abbr=on|lk=on}} {{hub|0.73}} gives 100 Mpc (326.16 Mly) h−1 0.73 {{convert|100|+/-|20|Mpc|Mly|abbr=on|lk=on}} {{hub|0.73}} gives 100 ± 20 Mpc (326 ± 65 Mly) h−1 0.73 Use Gpc as appropriate and/or feel free to leave off the light-year conversion if it becomes unwieldy. Parsecs are less ambiguous and are preferred over light-years, especially at cosmological distances (and also at nearby distances were parallaxes can be measured).
temperature	X-ray temperature of the intracluster medium, usually given in keV.
mass	1.4{{e|14}} {{hub|0.70}} gives 1.4×1014 h−1 0.70 M☉
luminosity	* X-ray luminosity, usually given in erg s−1 for some keV range. 1.4{{e|14}} [[erg]] s<sup>−1</sup> (0.1—2.4 [[electron volt|keV]]) gives 1.4×1014 erg s−1 (0.1—2.4 keV)
flux	* X-ray flux, usually given in erg s−1 cm−2 for some keV range. (1.4 ± 0.2){{e|-11}} [[erg]] s<sup>−1</sup> cm<sup>−2</sup> (0.1—2.4 [[electron volt|keV]]) gives (1.4 ± 0.2)×10−11 erg s−1 cm−2 (0.1—2.4 keV)
