Usage
[edit]- Paris' main public transport operator, RATP, exploits a set colour palette since around 1990 for its public communication, which mainly includes line colors.
Every line, whichever the means of transportation (bus, rail, boat, cable, etc), exploits a predefined set colour from this palette on all its communication (maps, timetables, led panels, etc). From late 2019 onwards, state organ Ile-de-France Mobilités (IDFM) operates a normalization of all transport routes in the Ile-de-France region, which includes RATP (as well as SNCF) transport toutes, colors for easy spotting on maps, which in turn all got normalized as well using the very same format.
- This template returns the RGB hexadecimal code for the colour of each bus route on the RATP bus network in Paris (indicated by parameter), as well as the new colors added by IDFM around the Grand Paris Express project which involves the opening of four brand new fully automatic subway lines at once (subway lines 15 to 18), two of which have a brand new colour.
- You can use as a parameter the number/code/name of any RATP Paris bus route (e.g.: 114, 121, 145, 221, 303, or TUB) ; as well as, from now on, train lines (using their single letter code from a to r), tram routes (using the letter t followed by the tram line number : t1 to t13), and even the official color name itself (e.g.: lilas, azur, sapin, framboise or acacia) !
Examples
[edit]:
{{RATP Paris/font colour|303}}

{{RATP Paris/font colour|Orlybus}}
