Template:Runeberg/doc

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

This is a template to generate links to the Projekt Runeberg. This template should be used exclusively for BOOKS.

Process

[edit]
  1. Go to the Project Runeberg web site.
  2. Find the book/work you want to link via the template.
  3. From the url, note the filename (subdirectory name) to link to an entire work.
  4. Also note the htmlno (e.g. for runeberg.org/foobar/004.html then "004") if linking to a specific chapter.
  5. Edit Wikipedia page and add in the {{Runeberg}} template, setting the filename to the correct url directory name, and htmlno to the applicable numeric of the html.

Basic usage

[edit]

{{Runeberg |filename= |name=}} To cite a book.
{{Runeberg |filename= |htmlno= |name=}} To cite any html page (chapter, story, article) from the book, using the corresponding numbered on the html file.

Examples

[edit]
Citing a book
  • Nordisk familjebok – via Project Runeberg.
{{Runeberg |filename=nf |name=Nordisk familjebok}}
Citing a chapter in a book
{{Runeberg |filename=folkeven |htmlno=035 |chapter=Askeladden som fikk prinsessen til å løgste seg |name=Norske Folkeeventyr |author=[[Asbjornsen and Moe]]}}

Instead of specifying htmlno you can override it by specifying full chapterurl
