Purpose

This template provides a convenient way to produce an external link to an episode of Scientific American Frontiers. The template can be used to link any show at the chedd-angier.com website, including the External links section or when citing it as a show as a source.

Usage

Vertical layout

Parameters

Parameter	Type	Description
season	optional	The season number in the series. All 15 seasons are currently online, so this number should run from 1 to 15. If omitted, this defaults to 1 (the first season).
episode	optional	The episode number of the season. The number of episodes varied by season. If omitted, an episode number is not provided. This defaults to episode 1 when generating the archive link (to the transcript or original website). It is not used to generate the current URL but can help the reader find the correct episode on that page.
name	optional	Label to display for the link. If omitted, it defaults to the name of the article where this template is used.
