I wish to raise some points:

1. Should we list items for which there is no content? (Musica campesina) Why don't we wait until suitable content is demonstrated?

2. Should we be considering the music/theatre fusions such as Zarzuela, Bufo &c?

3. Should we not keep trivia off the list? (Pilón) There are dozens of minor rhythms and mini-variants thereof. We should list none of them here.

4. We should list Trova and Contradanza, for sure. They have both played a big part in Cuban music.

5. If we're going to list one instrumental format (Charanga), should we list many more? Or none?

6. Are Batá and Yuka plucked off the wall where what we really need is an overview of the whole African influence on Cuban music?

7. Should we list styles that are not Cuban in origin? (Hip-hop; jazz; rock) One just can't put everything in one box!!

8. How about having some guiding principles to help us make such decisions?!

Temporarily, while we're thinking about these things, I suggest deleting Música campesina and inserting Trova.
