Possible break-up

[edit]

When this box starts getting huge, as it already is - I suggest a breakup into three boxes, Mesolithic, Neolithic, Chalcolithic. Whoever designed the set of boxes is perhaps best qualified to do it - but, maybe there's another ace out there.Dave (talk) 11:04, 14 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Supplementary box

[edit]

Hmm. I condensed it a lot so more would fit and added a touch of color. Not every article in the list can take this design conveniently. So, we need one that goes across the bottom. If any would care to undertake that I would appreciate it otherwise I will have a to grow a little more and do it myself.Dave (talk) 11:49, 15 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

This article is biased, is that really what Wikipedia was made for, for some persons to use it as a platform forbtheir own meanings, political or otherwise? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2001:4649:5B2:0:F852:4A1C:89D4:1B48 (talk) 14:13, 8 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Divide environmental periods from cultural ones

[edit]

Though it is obviously crucial to think about the interconnections between humans and their environments (past and present) the terminological separation is very useful (especially when introducing novices). In my opinion this is not a history related topic PatHadley (talk) 21:34, 1 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

I'm not sure if the talk page is the right place for this, but it seems to be. There is a bug that I tried fixing, but it didn't work. Here it is: "Neolithic onautocompleteerror Chalcolithic" of course, the first and last words are inter-links to other wiki pages, but the text between was originally "and first culture of the" but it's getting hidden by the error code.

could anyone have a look and fix it? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Bumblebritches57 (talkcontribs) 20:08, 27 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Correct chronozones

[edit]

With the confirmed status of the beginning of the Holocene fixed at 11.7ka b2k from 2008 [1] , should the Holocene chronozones be updated to reflect this? Zerosprite (talk) 22:55, 3 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]
