Having both 13.1 and 13.0 betas
[edit]@Hayman30: They are BOTH the latest previews releases for the 13.0.x series and 13.1.x series. SportsFan007 (talk) 08:10, 28 August 2019 (UTC)
- I agree with SportsFan007. They are both available in the developer website, and one is the latest 13.0 preview and the other the latest 13.1 preview. —Dimsar01 Talk ⌚→ 09:27, 28 August 2019 (UTC)
- This is an example of two versions being the "latest releases" at the same time. —Dimsar01 Talk ⌚→ 09:31, 28 August 2019 (UTC)
- 13.0 is no longer the latest preview release. Both the public and developer channels have moved on to 13.1. No more preview builds from 13.0 will be distributed. If this template doesn't have "latest" in its name, the when can have both listed, but that's not the case here. When we get up to 13.4 are we going to have the last preview version of each 13.x release listed here? Hayman30 (talk) 07:45, 10 September 2019 (UTC)
- The latest preview releases are now 13.0 GM Seed and 13.1 beta 3; without a sub-day time stamp, we don't know which is the latest. :-) Once 13.0 ships, it will cease to be a preview release, and there will be only one preview release listed (unless a 3.0.1 beta ships shortly afterwards). - We should look at the version number to determine which one is latest, not the release date. There was a time when iOS 13.0 and iOS 12.4 are both under beta testing, so if Apple releases a new beta for 12.4 does that become the latest preview release of iOS? I have no intention to change the template right now because y'all are just gonna change it back and 13.0 will be out of beta very soon, I'm just confused as to why there are two releases listed when this template is called "latest preview software release". 13.0 GM is still a preview release, yes, but it's not the latest preview release because 13.1 is a full version ahead of it, that how I understand it.
