The OEIS database has undergone some revisions, effective January 9, 2006. As a result, references to sequences have a new format, so this template was updated accordingly.

Here is an email that was sent by Neil J. A. Sloane on January 9, 2006:

There are many existing links to sequences on people's web sites. We are making changes on this computer so that they will still work. However, if you have such links, it would be good to change them. There are two kinds of links that should be changed:

Please change

www.research.att.com/cgi-bin/access.cgi/as/sequences/eisA.cgi?Anum=A012345

to

www.research.att.com/~njas/sequences/A012345

and change

www.research.att.com/projects/OEIS?Anum=A012345

to

www.research.att.com/~njas/sequences/A012345

Difference to Template:OEIS2C?

[edit]

Can anybody please tell me the difference of this template to Template:OEIS2C, which I've used to replace most explicit references to www.research.att.com/~njas ? --Gfis (talk) 21:48, 15 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
