Explanation of how to use leadout?

[edit]

Template documentation mentions leadout parameter but I'm not sure how to use it. Also can I use this template for books like https://muse.jhu.edu/book/710 ?   — Chris Capoccia 💬 12:52, 5 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

It doesn't appear to link to books. I wanted to link to https://muse.jhu.edu/book/32336 but the template linked to this https://muse.jhu.edu/article/32336 instead. It appears that some books and articles have the same number in the url but Project MUSE distinguishes by putting either "article" or "book" before it. This template only recognizes the article links though. Ltwin (talk) 22:38, 16 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
@Chris Capoccia and Ltwin: it should now support book and chapter links (see the documentation for examples). Olivaw-Daneel (talk) 01:50, 23 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
