Scope/purpose

Both the template's output and its documentation need to be clarified to indicate what this is actually for. It's not clear whether the intent is for, say, sub-species redirects to species, or for an almost-notable pet being redirected to the article of its owner/keeper, or something else completely. — SMcCandlish ☏ ¢ 😼 07:40, 5 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]
