Template talk:River item line
This is a line item for use in succession or navigation boxes for river items such as locks, crossings and islands. It is based on template:River bridge line but it serves as a alternative which can be used for the other items. This is particularly useful when an item serves for example as both a crossing and a lock, allowing all successsions to be included in one common box.
The line format allows of a "next upstream" and "next downstream" entry. It defaults to current page title for "this" entry. As it is not possible to override this, an alternative line Template:River item line X has been created for such instances where this is necessary.
