Ungrammatical sentence

[edit]

According to my (basic) knowledge of mapudungun, the sentence in the previous version of the template (Tvfachi che pvchintu kimmapusdugui) is ungrammatical. Since it was changed to its previous form without further justification, I reverted that change, but if I am proven to be wrong, I shall be quite willing to revise my understanding of mapudungun grammar. --Heinrich Puschmann 18:32, 2 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I apologize by reverting changes in colors and categories. It wasn't my aim. How write you that that sentence?. I have doubt about tüfa/tüfachi. Maybe you can ammend it. However, Nhewenh script (your creation) is not commonly seen for mapuche scripture, so, we should use Alfabeto Unificado, Raguileo o Azümchefe. I like Unificado for articles because is more easy for English-speaking (or Spanish-speaking) people. Bye. --Lin linao 22:23, 2 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Remember that "Tüfa" alone works like a pronoun, e.g. "Kimlan tüfa" (I don't know this). "Tüfachi" works like an adjective, e.g. "Tüfachi che" (This person), not "Tüfa che". Locoluis (talk) 00:03, 27 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
