New version of Konkani userbox[edit]

Made a new version of the Konkani Userbox. Any lies, dislikes , improvements corrections etc please let me know. --Deepak D'Souza 07:15, 17 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

You have mentioned Konkani in the colloquial Catholic style i.e. Konkni. Additionally the sentence too is written in the Manglorean Catholic style. GSB and MC Konkani varies a lot, which is why I never went to put the spoken Konkani in the box since it would not be common to every community. In fact GSB Konkani spoken in Kerala varies from the Manglorean variety.
Also by putting so much stuff, the box is simply too big. So let us have the old one back, it is short and sweet.--PremKudvaTalk 10:06, 17 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I know it varies a lot, you could have just added your own version along with the existing ones! The more the merrier! As far as the box size is concerned we don't lack space do we? --Deepak D'Souza 05:11, 19 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

knn[edit]

(no hyphen or number) for native speakers who use a language every day and have a thorough grasp of it, including colloquialisms and idioms.[edit]

  1. या सदस्यालॆं कॊंकणि आवुसुभास आसा।
  2. हॆ सदस्यालॆं मांयभास कोंकणी आसा.

Discussion[edit]

  1. No. 2 is my entry. Aus is popular used in Kanara.. I'm not sure if Goans use it or not.. I'm guessing not. मांयभास is commonly recognized by all Konkanis. Signed | Aoghac2z | 06:49, 1 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
