Terry McLaughlin (born July 24, 1956 in Toronto, Ontario) is a canadian sailor. He won a silver medal in the Flying Dutchman Class at the 1984 Summer Olympics with Evert Bastet.
He did not attend the 1980 Summer Olympics due to the boycott of the event by western countries.
He skippered Canada I in the 1983 Louis Vuitton Cup.
He was the 2001[1] and 2013[2] Sail Canada's Rolex Sailor of the Year.
McLaughlin also skippered the Royal Canadian Yacht Club Swan 42 yacht Daring to win the 2011 and 2013 New York Yacht Club Invitational Cups and the 2013 Swan 42 National Championships.[3][4][5]
