The Art Institute of Ohio – Cincinnati is one of The Art Institutes, a system of more than 40 educational institutions located throughout North America, providing education in design, media arts, fashion and culinary arts. The Art Institutes system is a subsidiary of Education Management Corporation (EDMC), which is headquartered in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

Founded in 2004, The Art Institute of Ohio – Cincinnati is located at 8845 Governors Hill Drive in the Cincinnati suburb of Mason, Ohio[1]. However, according to the Cincinnati Business Courier, the college’s original facility was shared with its EDMC sister school Brown Mackie College [2].

The Art Institute of Ohio – Cincinnati is accredited by the Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools (ACICS) [3] as well as by the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges of Technology (ACCSCT) as a branch of The Illinois Institute of Art — Chicago.
