The Black EP is an EP from New York City based post-punk revival band Interpol. It is a collection of live recordings from the "Black Sessions" that were recorded on French radio station Radio France. One complaint often heard about the album is that it cannot be heard unless at very high volumes. It has been critically acclaimed as one of the best live albums in the past decade by Nic Harcourt[citation needed]. The full-length session clocks in at 45 minutes with 26 minutes of material missing, although available in bootleg form.
