The Fork, the Witch, and the Worm is a book by Christopher Paolini set in the world of Eragon and the Inheritance Cycle a year after the events of Inheritance.[1] It consists of three short stories, and was published on December 31, 2018. The second item in the book is by his sister: "an excerpt from the memoir of the unforgettable witch and fortune-teller Angela the herbalist . . . penned by Angela Paolini, the inspiration for the character, herself."[2][1] In between the three main stories, it contains a substory on how Eragon faces difficulties in raising new dragons and their riders.
