The Moan is the third release and first EP by the American blues-rock duo The Black Keys, released in 2004. This is their last release for Alive Records, as the band switched to Fat Possum Records to publish their 2003 LP Thickfreakness the previous year.

The title track for The Moan was also made available on a vinyl 7" SP (ALIVE0047-1), with "Have Love Will Travel (Radio Edit)" as the B-side (Alive Records). The original cut of "Have Love Will Travel", which is a Sonics through Richard Berry cover, was first released on Thickfreakness. "Heavy Soul (alternate)" is a reprise of The Big Come Up version. The remaining track is "No Fun", a Stooges cover.
