The Tommy Tiernan Show is an Irish chat show presented by Tommy Tiernan. It was first broadcast on RTÉ One on 5 January 2017 and airs on Thursday evenings. The host Tommy Tiernan and the audience has no idea who the guests will be until they walk out onto the stage with no pre-prepared questions or research being carried out.[1]

Series

The first series of 6 shows began at 10:35pm on 5 January 2017. The very first guests were Christy Dignam, Vogue Williams, and Russell Howard with music from Aslan.[2]

On the second episode, the guests were Ray Darcy, the Crimmins Triplets, and Richard Baneham with music from Gavin James.[3]

On the third episode the guests were John Sheehan and Paddy Moloney, Professor Brendan Kelly and Lisa McHugh, who also performed music for the episode.

On the fourth episode the guests were actor John Connors, John Aldridge, and author Lisa McInerney with music from The Riptide Movement.

On the fifth episode the guests were AP McCoy, author Louise O'Neill, and GAA player Briege Corkery with music from Lynched.

The second season of the show began airing in January 2018.
