Thomas Scott Dickson (1885–1935)[1] was Labour MP for Lanark for two periods.

Career

He was first elected in 1923, but was narrowly defeated in 1924. He was re-elected in 1929, but did not seek re-election in 1931. During his election in 1923, The Times described him as follows: Mr T. Dickson is a journalist and a member of the Lanark County Council. Originally a member of the reporting staff of the Scotsman, he is now a sub-editor on Forward, the organ in Scotland of the Socialist movement. He unsuccessfully contested the constituency at the last General Election.[2]
