Thugs of Malgudi is an upcoming Indian Kannada film written and directed by Rakshit Shetty.[1] It features Sudeep and Rakshit Shetty in lead role. The makers of the film have not yet finalised the cast for the film other than lead role.[2]
Plot
Thugs of Malgudi will be a story based in the pre-independence period, with Malgudi as the backdrop. The film talks about what happens during the Quit India Movement. It will be a classic film with commercial elements.[3]

The principal photography of the film will commence sometime in May 2017.
