Tideway Systems was a British software company that offered products for enterprise IT use, including applications for data centre optimization, virtualization management, application availability and standards compliance. Its flagship product was Foundation, an application that creates maps of IT infrastructure including software in use, servers & virtual hosts and networking equipment such as switches and routers.

The company was founded in November 2002 by Richard Muirhead. In October 2009, Tideway was acquired by BMC Software.[1]
