Speech and debate
Tiftarea Academy reestablished a speech and debate team in the fall of 2013. The team competes throughout Georgia and the Southeast. They went to semifinals at the 2014 GISA State Championships, and have won various debate and speaking awards at every tournament they have competed in to date.[citation needed]
