Tinnakill Castle (Irish: Tigh na Coille, English: House of the Wood), also known as Tynekill, is a ruined castle in the parish of Coolbanagher, in the Barony of Portnahinch, County Laois, Leinster, Ireland. The castle was built in c.1450 by Eoin Carragh MacDonnell (John the scabbed), on the site of a previous castle.[1][2]
