Tom Tierney (rugby union)

Tom Tierney is a retired Irish rugby union player. He played at scrum-half for Richmond, Garryowen, Munster, Galwegians, Connacht, Leicester and Ireland. He won eight international caps in 1999 and 2000.[1][2] He previously coached Garryowen FC, Cork Constitution RFC and led Glenstal Abbey School to a Limerick City Senior School's cup win. Tierney is currently the Head Coach of the Irish national women's rugby team.[3]
