Thomas Edward "Tommy" Hughes (25 December 1886 – 19 August 1981) was an Australian rules footballer who played with Carlton in the Victorian Football League (VFL). Usually playing on the wing or in defence, he was erroneously believe to have been killed in the Somme during World War I.[1]
