Ton Koot
Appearance
Ton Koot (1907–1986) was secretary of the Amsterdam Rijksmuseum. He was vice-president of the Amsterdam Tourist Office and a prolific author. The Ton Kootpenning has been awarded since 1972 for services to the preservation of heritage and commitment to monument protection.[1]
Selected publications
Before 1940 the subject of his publications was Scouting and camping, later the history and attractions of Amsterdam.[2]
