Topolog (Danube)

Template:Geobox Topolog is a river in Dobruja, Romania, tributary of the Danube. It rises near the commune of Topolog, in the Casimcea Plateau of Tulcea County forming the Topolog Depression, which divides the Plateau in two parts: the Casimcea Plateau proper (to the east) and the Hârșova Plateau (to the west). Initially, it flows from northwest toward southeast, but eventually, it changes to east-west, spilling into a lake.

Its length is 38 km, of which 20 km is in Tulcea County and 18 km in Constanţa County. The hydrographic basin is 343 km2, of which 156 km2 in Tulcea County and the rest in Constanța County.
