Toshio Sakai

Toshio Sakai (酒井 淑夫, Sakai Toshio, March 31, 1940 – November 21, 1999), a graduate of Meiji University,[citation needed] a photographer for United Press International, won the Pulitzer Prize for Feature Photography in 1968, for a photograph depicting the Vietnam War.[1] He was the first person to receive that award.
