Tribonyx is a small genus, containing two species of birds in the rail family, that is sometimes lumped with the moorhens in Gallinula. It is endemic to Australia. Described species are:[1]
- T. ventralis (Gould, 1837) – black-tailed nativehen
- T. mortierii Du Bus de Gisignies, 1840 – Tasmanian nativehen
