Tyler Jeffery Hynes (born May 6, 1986) is a Canadian actor and film maker.

Early life

Hynes was born in Toronto, Ontario, and grew up on a 60-acre (240,000 m2) ranch in Russell, Ontario.[1] He went to elementary school at Mother Theresa Catholic School in Russell and St. Francis Xavier High School as well as North Dundas High School.

Career

Hynes began acting at age seven, his first role was on The Mystery Files of Shelby Woo.[1] He most notable roles are Vince Legare on 19-2.[1][2][3] and Luke Reid on Saving Hope.[4] Hynes has also directed and produced short films.[1]
