Uki Ni Masi is an island that is part of the Solomon Islands. It is 150 square kilometres (58 square miles) in size and the highest hills are up to 200 metres (660 feet) high. The only mammals that live there were introduced by man like the Polynesian rat (Rattus exulans) and bats Dobsonia inermis, Pteropus cognatus, Emballonura nigrescens and Aselliscus tricuspidatus.
