The Field Elm cultivar Ulmus minor 'Silvery Gem' is a highly ornamental clone.

Description

The tree bears leaves with an irregular but conspicuous creamy-white margin.[1]

Pests and diseases

'Silvery Gem' is not known to be resistant to Dutch elm disease.

Cultivation

The clone remains available from several nurseries in the British Isles.
