Umbra (Latin for "shade") is a Toronto-based homeware design and manufacturing company. The company was founded by two childhood friends in 1978. The company now sells more than 2,000 home products, sold through over 25,000 retailers in 120 countries.[1] The company's products are recognized by a stylized "U" printed on each item.[2][3]
