Green is the unofficial name of an album by Universal Indicator. The commonly held belief is that Richard D. James produced the 12" and 10" records, while Mike Dred produced the 7". It is also rumored to be produced by James, Dred and Grant Wilson-Claridge, although it is possible that either James or Dred solely produced the album. The album was pressed in a limited edition of 1,000 copies of a box set in which a 12", 10" and 7" vinyl record come in a screen-printed white plastic shopping bag (pictured). A purple promotional 7" exists as a copy of the green 7".

On January 29th, 2015, Richard D. James uploaded track C1 to one of his SoundCloud accounts under the name '23 moodular3[live gig]', confirming his involvement with the Universal Indicator project.[2]
