Sacramentality

The Christian principle of sacramentality is rooted in the incarnation, whereby the divine Jesus Christ is the visible Word of God. Sacraments are visible, sensible signs mediating invisible realities. They are externalized in worship (*liturgy), are a means of holiness and part of God's economy of *salvation.[1]
