The Higher Technical Institute Kaindorf is a federal higher institute in Kaindorf an der Sulm, municipality of Leibnitz, Styria.
It operates leading departments for computer science, automation technology, mechatronics and robotics and is highly recognised across Austria.
Education specialisations[edit]
Four specialisations can be chosen at the HTBLA Kaindorf: Computer science, automation technology, mechatronics and robotics. The five-year courses of each specialisation end with the Matura and thus the university entrance qualification.
School administration[edit]
In the entire time of the HTBLA Kaindorf, there have only been two headmasters. Hansjörg Trummer was headmaster of the college from 1993 to 1998. When Hansjörg Trummer died in 1998 after leading the first class to the school-leaving examination, Günter Schweigler took over the school management.
